Each solution is made based on our know-how of the material to process and the part production quality and standard required.

Forming

Forming tools for compression of multiple composite sheets by thermoforming / thermoset process that bring to cold or hot tools.

Tools build in aluminum or steel, with or without the possibility of integral cut made out in shear-by-pass or pinch-trim with different solution of welding or heating treatment proposal.

Possibly secondary pneumatic and hydraulic actions in addition for forming/cutting/blowing/ejecting solutions. Cavities can be inserted if needed.

Deep drilled holes for conditioning, vacuum, air blow can be implemented as needed. Surface graining for a textured or polished aspect if needed as well.

Forming tool made out with or without toolbolster, guided by columns or prismatic guide, with slots for in press lock, every conditioning/pneumatic/hydraulic/electric connections to the line.

Thermoforming substrate can coming out free from the oven or managed by system of pre-tension to improve quality process.

They can simply mold the substrate, on a multiple step solution that require other subsequent steps on the process, or co-molding a covering to reach a one-step solution finalizing the component.

Covering material pretensioned manually by using of a frame or asserved to the tool from auto-load secondary station.

Injection

Injection tools of the surrounded accessories of the final component in-car installed.

Some experience on back-injection of plastic material on composite sheets.

Foaming

Foaming tools build in aluminum or steel for direct or in-direct injection of the foam solution.

Punching

Punching and cutting tools for secondary step operation after forming process.

Tools generally build in steel rather than aluminum, served of steel casting if needed, with integral or inserted, generally shear-by-pass perimeter cutting edge.

Possibly secondary pneumatic and hydraulic actions if needed, rather than mechanical cam. Mostly equipped with stripper plate for part holding in position.

Bonding

Bonding tools for secondary covering of the substrate pre-formed with different covering materials.

Tools generally build in aluminum, heating conditioned if necessary, with possibly secondary pneumatic actions if needed.

Tool generally made out with toolbolster, guided by columns or prismatic guide, with slots for in press lock, every conditioning/pneumatic/electric connections to the line.

Covering material pretensioned by using of different solutions or asserved to the tool from auto-load secondary station.

Edge wrap

Tools for edge wrap covering on the perimeter; build in aluminum or steel, made out of slide/actions to overlap the covering around the perimeter edges.

Tool can be conditioned (cold/hot) if needed.
